Actually I had planned to paint something completely different today. But then I heard the news this afternoon, and I changed my mind All the time, since the demonstrations began in Egypt, I had one picture in my mind A scene I had seen in the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin years ago, a lonely figure leaving the main hall . I was lucky to find the original drawing ... I wish all my Egyptian friends, colleagues and collectors now a peaceful transformation of their country!
Actually, today I had planned to paint something else. But then I received the news in the afternoon and I changed my plan. Since the start of the demonstrations in Egypt, I always had that one scene in my head that I had seen years ago in the Ägytischen Embassy in Berlin, a solitary figure, which leaves the main hall. Fortunately, I found my drawing of that time again .... I now wish all my ägytischen friends, colleagues and collectors of peaceful development for their country!
