I try the cut to be modified for a vest and cut shorter. The cut is quite
from scarce, but sits perfectly. I had heard that fails Garconne scarce and therefore have a larger point cut, that was good! So that the waist sits where it belongs, I have at the waist line added another 2 inches and I must say - I am very satisfied. Now I'm going to make the whole thing as a dress and without zipper - but slightly longer than on the sample image - a hand-width above the knee ... or so.
The material (pure wool Walk) is a dream and had to sew beautifully. I really like this Frans edge that I have material in the process consciously. Which has unfortunately not every walk quality.
